O planemaneto mensal das actividades do LERM é feito com base nos pedidos registados neste site na secção "pedidos" . Os pedidos devem ser registados entre os dias 20 e 25 do mês imediatamente anterior ao da data pretendida.

As presentes regras têm em vista garantir uma boa utilização do laboratório de Estruturas e Resistência de Materiais - LERM (pisos -1 e -2) e devem ser cumpridas durante a realização do trabalho experimental, independente da sua natureza. O não cumprimento destas regras resultará em advertência ao utilizador. A reincidência destas advertências poderá resultar no afastamento do utilizador e impedimento da utilização das dependências do laboratório.

The following rules are intended to ensure the good use of laboratório de Estruturas e Resistência dos Materiais - LERM (-1 and -2 floors) and must be complied during the entirety of the experimental work, regardless of its nature. Failure to comply with these rules will result in a warning to the user. The recurrence of these warnings may result in the expulsion of the user and subsequent deterrent into the laboratory facilities.

1. O aluno/investigador deve estar registado como utilizador do laboratório, mediante o preenchimento da Formulário de Inscrição, disponível no site do LERM;

2. Todos os trabalhos a realizar no LERM devem estar registados através da submissão do Formulário de Registo, disponível no site do LERM;

3. Qualquer utilizador deve possuir vestuário e calçado adequados, bem como meios de proteção individuais (óculos, auriculares, máscaras, luvas, quando necessário);

4. É obrigatório o uso de coletes refletores de cor amarela ou laranja, em todo e qualquer espaço pertencente ao LERM (Laboratório, Oficina, Arrecadações, etc);

5. É interdito o uso de calçado aberto (ex: chinelos, havaianas) e calções ou outro tipo de vestuário que não proteja o tronco e membros inferiores;

6. Quando nos espaços do LERM, os funcionários (do LERM e dos outros laboratórios do DECivil) usarão coletes refletores de cor amarela ou laranja ou, em alternativa, o equipamento próprio dos laboratórios do DECivil;

7. Só deve entrar no LERM o material escolar mínimo e indispensável para a realização do trabalho experimental, o restante deve ser guardado noutro local exterior ao LERM;

8. O aluno/investigador pode utilizar as Instalações Sanitárias (masculinas/femininas) e pequeno Vestiário, localizados no piso -2;

9. É interdito comer ou beber no laboratório;

10. O aluno/investigador deve respeitar escrupulosamente o plano de trabalhos mensal definido pelo Diretor do LERM relativo às tarefas atribuídas aos Técnicos do LERM;

11. Antes do aluno/investigador utilizar qualquer equipamento (pela primeira vez), deve solicitar apoio aos Técnicos do LERM, e cumprir as regras de funcionamento por eles transmitidas;

12. O aluno/investigador não deve alterar a posição dos equipamentos, antes, durante e após a realização do seu trabalho experimental sem autorização dos Técnicos do LERM;

13. Após o trabalho experimental diário, todos os utensílios do LERM deverão ser repostos no local de origem e em devidas condições de limpeza e funcionamento;

14. Após o trabalho experimental diário o aluno/investigador deverá limpar e arrumar devidamente o seu posto de trabalho e seguir todas as indicações a esse respeito que lhe sejam transmitidas pelos Técnicos do LERM;

15. Antes do aluno/investigador utilizar qualquer ferramenta ou equipamento deve verificar o seu adequado funcionamento, reportando eventuais anomalias aos Técnicos do LERM;

16. O aluno/investigador após a realização do seu trabalho deve manter a área de trabalho limpa e colocar os resíduos nos contentores adequados;

17. Os resíduos perigosos, identificados pelo aluno/investigador após leitura da ficha de segurança do produto, devem ser armazenados em recipientes próprios fornecidos pelo laboratório, e entregues aos Técnicos do LERM;

18. O aluno/investigador deverá cumprir o horário de funcionamento do LERM (incluindo os dias de descanso e férias do pessoal), e planear a sua atividade experimental atempadamente;

19. O acesso às instalações e utilização de equipamentos fora do horário de trabalho do e colocar os resíduos nos contentores adequados, carece de autorização expressa do Diretor do LERM (por solicitação do orientador ao próprio director do LERM);

20. Não é permitido que o aluno/investigador proceda a qualquer trabalho de reparação ou alteração dos equipamentos do laboratório sem conhecimento do Técnicos do LERM;

21. As avarias ou danos em equipamentos que resultem da sua utilização indevida ou não autorizada, ainda de que forma acidental, são da inteira responsabilidade do aluno/investigador que as provocar, a quem serão imputados os custos da sua reparação ou substituição;

22. As avarias ou danos que resultem de excesso de utilização de um dado equipamento são da responsabilidade dos aluno/investigador que utilizam esse equipamento;

23. O aluno/investigador deve manter todas as circulações limpas e desobstruídas. Não devem ser colocados matérias ou ferramentas em locais de circulação, inclusivamente em situações consideradas de caracter provisório;

24. O aluno/investigador não deve abandonar actividades e/ou equipamentos susceptíveis de provocar incidentes/acidentes;

25. No laboratório só devem permanecer as pessoas que nele trabalham ou aqueles que sejam devidamente registados como utilizadores ou autorizados pelo Diretor do LERM;

26. O aluno/investigador deve trabalhar acompanhado ou informar da sua presença;

27. O aluno/investigador não pode executar actividade experimental que não tenha habilitações ou que não esteja autorizado, combinando a realização dessa actividade com os Técnicos do LERM, consoante a sua disponibilidade;

28. O aluno/investigador deve identificar os riscos das actividades/produtos que realiza e utiliza e tomar as medidas de prevenção adequadas;

29. Em caso de acidente, aluno/investigador deve seguir as instruções indicadas no laboratório.

1. The student/researcher must be registered as a laboratory user, by filling in the Registration Form, available on the LERM website;

2. All work to be carried out at LERM must be registered by submitting the Registration Form, available on the LERM website;

3. Any user must have appropriate clothing and footwear, as well as individual means of protection (goggles, ear protection, masks, gloves, when necessary);

4. It is mandatory to wear yellow or orange reflective vests in any space belonging to the LERM (Laboratory, Workshop, Storage Room, etc);

5. It is forbidden to wear open shoes (eg flip-flops, sandals) and shorts or any other type of clothing that does not protect the trunk and lower limbs;

6. When in LERM spaces, employees (from LERM and other DECivil laboratories) will wear yellow or orange reflective vests or, alternatively, the equipment used in DECivil laboratories;

7. Only the minimum and essential school material for carrying out the experimental work should enter the LERM, the rest must be stored in another location outside the LERM;

8. The student/researcher may use the Sanitary Facilities (male/female) and small changing room, located on the -2 floor;

9. Eating or drinking is prohibited in the laboratory;

10. The student/researcher must scrupulously respect the monthly work plan defined by the LERM Director regarding the tasks assigned to LERM Technicians;

11. Before the student/researcher uses any equipment (for the first time), he must request support from the LERM Technicians, and comply with the operating rules transmitted by them;

12. The student/researcher must not change the position of the equipment, before, during and after carrying out their experimental work without authorization from the LERM Technicians;

13. After the daily experimental work, all LERM tools must be returned to their original location and in proper cleaning and operating conditions;

14. After the daily experimental work, the student/researcher must clean and tidy his/her workstation properly and follow all the instructions in this regard that are transmitted by the LERM Technicians;

15. Before the student/researcher uses any tool or equipment, he must check its proper functioning, reporting any anomalies to the LERM Technicians;

16. The student/researcher, after carrying out his/her work, must keep the work area clean and put the waste in the appropriate containers

17. Hazardous waste, identified by the student/researcher after reading the product safety data sheet, must be stored in proper containers provided by the laboratory, and delivered to LERM Technicians;

18. The student/researcher must comply with the opening hours of the LERM (including rest days and vacations for staff), and plan his/her experimental activity in a timely manner;

19. Access to facilities and use of equipment outside of working hours and placing waste in appropriate containers requires express authorization from the LERM Director (by request of the supervisor to the LERM director);

20. The student/researcher is not allowed to carry out any repair work or alteration of the laboratory equipment without the knowledge of the LERM Technicians;

21. Breakdowns or damage to equipment that result from its improper or unauthorized use, even in an accidental way, are the sole responsibility of the student/researcher that causes them, to whom the costs of repairing or replacing them will be charged;

22. Breakdowns or damage resulting from overuse of a given equipment are the responsibility of the student/researcher who use that equipment;

23. The student/investigator must keep all circulations clean and unobstructed. Materials or tools must not be placed in circulation areas, even in situations considered provisional;

24. The student/researcher must not abandon activities and/or equipment likely to cause incidents/accidents;

25. No laboratório só devem permanecer as pessoas que nele trabalham ou aqueles que sejam devidamente registados como utilizadores ou autorizados pelo Diretor do LERM;

26. The student/researcher must work accompanied or inform of his/her presence;

27. The student/researcher cannot carry out an experimental activity that he or she does not have qualifications for or that is not authorized, combining the realization of this activity with the LERM Technicians, depending on their availability;

28. The student/researcher must identify the risks of the activities/products they perform and use and take appropriate preventive measure

29. In the event of an accident, the student/researcher must follow the instructions given in the laboratory.
